Cheaper than airlines like BA and AirFrance, but you get what you pay for (if you're lucky)

Flights cancelled and then no effort to reroute you ("come back in 2 days"). Non-existent customer service.

This airline is really poor and whenever possible I try to use Agean. We had a problem with a cancelled flight due to bad weather from one of the islands back to Athens. They told us to come back in 2 days. Yes, really - 2 days. Agean were still flying despite the weather and had plenty of spare seats, so we flew back to Athens with them and then made the connection to Paris. The problems : 1/ When the flight was cancelled we asked Olympic to move us onto the Agean flight. They said no, do it yourself. 2/ We therefore booked and paid ourselves and then asked the Olympic staff for a refund - they said no, ask at Athens airport instead. 3/ We queued up for 1 hour at customer service at Athens and asked for a refund - they said no, fax the central customer services instead. 4/ We sent 2 faxes to central customer services - no reply. 5/ I have not managed to contact central customer services by telephone either - no answer.
So, basically we are out of pocket for the Agean flights and no-one at Olypmic cares.
