Good Points

Inexpensive, most parts are either wood or metel few plastic, ok power for young shooter who just wants to hit close targets.

Bad Points

None really my expectations were just set too high

General Comments

All in all this is a good first bb gun. This is one of the few classic bb guns that arnt very expensive that isn't made out of mainly plastic. The gun is well built. it can take a beating, it last very long especially if you oil it and just shoot it and don;t throw it around. But even if you don;t take the best care of it it is still a very good gun. The down side of this gun is that if a young child is shooting it they may get discourged because at least for my gun the bb goes about 3 inches off to the right at only about 5-7 yards away. If you go 20 yards if with the gun "sighted in" (only can change the rear sight to adjust for elevation) it will go about 1-2ft closer to one. If you get this gun you should buy it just for the child to get gun safety lesson and to learn how a airsoft gun works but you should not buy it with the intent for it to give the child years of fun because once they learn to use the gun they're gonna want to start shooting from greater distance and then they will see that the gun can't stay accurate and it looses power fast. The last thing i have ro say is that if you are going to buy a 7+ year old child this gun be ready to buy them a second gun soon. The better thing to do would be to get a crossman 760 as the childs firs gun and if there so young that your worried about the power you could just only allow them to use the gun with you and while useing it only pump it once or twice.

It might be your sight. Try adjusting it.
