Bad Points

P.O.S poor build quality, laughable accuracy

General Comments

I bought a B-19 about a month ago. If you are new to air gunning take this advice, reguardless of what you read about these cheap jap guns, save up for a real gun. At the very least spend 70 or 80 more and get an RWS 34. This b-19 has poor build quality, the stock is of poor quality, the bluing, the accuracy leaves a lot to be desired.

You must've got a lemon, because my b18 can shoot 8 shots into a 1/2 inch group at 50 feet and 1/2 to 3/4" groups at 30 yards. I got mine under 2 months ago and it still shoots great. You mentioned the bluing is bad, well there is no bluing its a parkarized finish. It shoots in the 850fps range (mine) and for 80$ its the best bang for your buck. May I suggest you send it back to the seller for a new one, you won't be disappointed.

Japanese gun? They are made in China. Blueing bad? It's parkerized, no blueing.
The metal finish is a very nice-looking military style parkerizing. The stock wood has a nice grain pattern and is finished with polyurethane.
The stock inletting is rough, but you cannot see this unless you take the gun apart, and has no bearing on the performance. They are nice-looking accurate and powerful guns.

I agree with the previous comments and have made side by side comparisons with both RWS 94 and Gamo440 rifles. True, they have better build quality but in terms of accuracy (with Gamo Match .22cal.) and power, the B-19 compares favorably at less than half the price. All guns had more than 1000 shots fired and I and my freinds agreed the B-19 had more power in terms of penetration at 20 yds. A good choice for a low cost ($80.) varmint gun.

It is what it is, a Cheap Gun. A decent build, accurate gun for the money. Most will hold with other guns with power, accuracy. That's what it's about, for me anyway.
