Delivery, customer services in India who cannot deviate from their script and cannot help.

I bought a pan set as a gift which is a good deal even with the expensive courier, but the supposed delivery time of seven days has been and gone and the cost of phone calls to their customer service is an expensive 0870 number, and I'm dreading the phone bill. In addition, customer services told me that the item had left the warehouse the day after the auction and were with their home delivery service and should be received two to three days later. Twelve days later and still no pans. I'm fed up with spending money on calls and getting nowhere and have sent two emails and had no replies, and when I rang the home delivery service, all I got was the engaged tone then cut off. I agree that the letter they say they will send within 10 days so I can claim my money back (which they have had since the 28th April) is an absolute cheek, as if you don't send faulty goods back to them within 15 days, hard luck. They are in breach of their contact as they promise delivery within seven days. I will never buy from these channels again. Their customer service is ineffective and expensive and they don't mind hanging on to your money for a month which is what it will be if I wait for that so-called non-delivery letter.
