Lovely family run hotel short walking distance to two separate shopping areas. Easy access to lakes and very easy to find on main street with a nice car park nice staff and good service at breakfast.
Bad Points
Although the car park is large we had trouble parking on a couple of nights and we just parked across road.
General Comments
Ellerthwaite Lodge Hotel is in a very good area just a nice walking distance. We tried the Jade Chinese and the Lighthouse cafe bar both very nice would definitely return to this hotel soon. Could of had a few more luxury things like bathrobes and nice products for the price we paid. Would of been nice if hotel had served snacks during the day and evening.
