A good starting point if you're looking to adopt a dog as there are many rescues up and down the country listed (although less than there used to be).
Bad Points
There is a 'dog chatter' section which can get rather heated and one sided. Best avoided unless you don't mind some 'serious' banter from time to time!
General Comments
The Dog Rescue section of Dogpages has a fairly comprehensive section of Rescues and their associated dogs looking for new homes. As a result it provides quite a good snapshot of animals available for re homing up and down the country. Thus it is a good starting point for anyone interested in either finding out their nearest Rescue (although defiantly do a GOOGLE search too as Dogpages isn't quite as comprehensive as it used to be), or those at the 'nearly interested stage' and would like to see and learn a bit more about what types/breeds of dogs come up in Rescues.
Aside from the above and the Volunteers Section (where you can find out which rescues need help/how you can help), the rest is 'Chatter'.
