Mostly I'm connected and I get consistent (if slow!) speeds
Customer Service answer quickly (but hope your issue is on script!)
- I tend to connect to work over VPN and the variable line quality means the VPN drops after 20-30 mins. Very patchy.
- I called customer service when I couldn't connect over a few days and the Indian guy just kept to his script and told me my filter or phone points in the house were bad. Even though nothing had changed my end (I hadn't moved any filters let alone any wall sockets!). He wasn't listening and didn't make any attempt to consider anything beyond his script in my opinion. After some hours of fault finding on my own, I think it was probably too many users on my local exchange.
It is hard trying recommend or fault a BB provider. There's too many variables for which there is so little ownership. Overall Waitrose has been 'ok' in terms of consistency - I could get BB a surf most of the time. However for more demanding downloading forget it. My connection has been patchy and has gotten slower over the past year.
I'm looking to move off Waitrose as the customer service was rated highly in Which Magazine, but did not live up to expectations. Yes, they answer quickly (the first hurdle), but don't listen to you and only gave me basic checks to make.
