Very Quick, superb road handling, high mpg,looks great in black. More room inside than you think. Good size boot, remember this is not a family car.Wonderful sound system.
Lots of toys, ie cruise control, auto lights/wipers ect., run flat tyres.
The cost in the first place is higher, should hold it's value? The M range have a very hard ride. Seat belts are mounted too far back.
The BMW 120d M is on of the best small cars I have ever driven in terms of pure driving pleasure, it goes where you point it, no matter how hard you are driving. Its green, 58 mpg, the right emissions, so youre doing your bit for the planet as well.
The ride can only be described as hard and unforgiving but its an M so this is what should be expected. Read the stats, for a diesel this car will surprise many in terms 0 to 60? Find out! 177 bhp. This is not a family car.
The one we have has the auto box 6 speed, with manual function if youre bothered, nice to play around with.
Auto lights and wipers, cruses control, single CD player, very good sound system, electric windows all two of them,17 inch alloys with run flats sensors for drop in tyre pressure. Jack plug for I-pod, Climate control, ECT, Well equipped for a small car.
It looks the part in Black and the wheels do stand out.
The sales team at the BMW dealership were courteous and professional, considering I had arrange to buy a demo Audi A4 at the dealership next door and just popped it to look around whilst waiting to be noticed at Audi? (thanks to BMW Portsmouth) They sorted every think out with no fuss.
