Easy to set up new bill payments, direct debits.
After signing on to internet banking, Nationwide displays marketing and advertising junk - or any other junk when Nationwide has nothing left to market or advertise - and forces customers to acknowledge this displayed junk three times before permitting them to access to their internet online accounts. This forcing customers to acknowledge Nationwide's junk mail three times after they have signed, on before permitting these customers to access their own online accounts with Nationwide, was recently introduced by them. There main interest at Nationwide is to implement Real Time Content (RTC) advertising, whereby customers are subjected to targeted advertising based on data collected about them.
The quality of Nationwide's service to its customers has sadly declined during the past twenty years. Nationwide has steadily moved closer towards becoming a public limited company (plc) howbeit in all but name. I feel it treats its customers like cash cows, to be used and abused as Nationwide thinks fit, while it also pretends that - by having no shareholders - Nationwide is 'owned' by its customers and members.
