The progression in Brians voice and the general sound. In particular 'My Sweet Prince' and 'Without You I'm Nothing' are highlights.
Bad Points
There is only one bad song- in the form of 'Burger Queen'
General Comments
Placebo's second full-length album, Without You I'm Nothing is the album which shows the band at it's strongest, but seemingly the members at their weakest. Minor chords are often used, creating a melancholy tone which suits the lyrics perfectly, particularly in 'Every You Every Me' with the line "Carve your name into my arm, instead of stressed i lie here charmed'. Still keeping the youth and sarcasm from the self titled debut, but simply making it more of an album than a selection of songs. If 'Placebo' was the sex, 'WYIN' is definitely the morning after.
