Nice looking substantial piece of technology
Bad Points
firstly no one told me that there was a long term problem with lip synching, which was exacerbated when connected to my satellite system.
The picture quality was only mediocre, when watching the screen on a terrestrial signal the colur would disappear from a persons face only to be replaced with moving pixel like colours.
The set was equipped with a system called DNIE which is meant to improve picture quality?
It didn't work.
When i spoke to Samsung they admitted that there was a problem with lip synching and that it was almost impossible to repair...Hence it went back and I am now researching for a new Plasma screen TV

The Samsung PS42P3SXX (SHD) Plasma Screen is one television set I would not recommend to anyone!

As many of us have previously read, when a Satellite image is blown up to such high proportions it becomes distorted. As for terrestrial images, I wouldn't even bother using them as they are hardly adiquite enough on your average 28" set.
I do admit however that there is attention needed on lip synching.
Until then however I will strongly support Samsung's efforts inside the Plasma market, as they are a strong leader in Price Reduction.
