Good Points

Overall it is a quite efficient service with a good rewards system.

General Comments

I pay my Tesco credit card off every month and the account has largely looked after itself. Tesco were very prompt in supplying the card in the first instance and there is certainly no criticism there. Balances can be viewed online and the system seems to work OK.

The big disadvantage is the length of time it takes to get statements out. Usually these arrive less than a week before the payment due date so that it is impractical to rely on the bill if you are going to manage your finances properly. This does not leave sufficient time to pay by cheque and if you need to transfer money from a savings account, the chances are that you won't have enough time. This is a ridiculous problem which should be quite easy for Tesco to fix. If it does, then the card would be one of the best.
