Good Points

Excellent customer service, always smooth flights, new air planes for many routes


Bad Points

For some routes (i.e. rome-bgk) there is no on flight entertainment


General Comments

I've used Thai airways 4 times in 2 months from rome to bgk-perth syd\bgk and I've always have good experiences. All the flights were on time, they were smooth and flight crew was kind. The planes from bgk to Perth and syd to bgk were new with excellent on flight entertainment, the flight from Rome to bgk was not that new, but very comfortable with extra space for the legs (I'm 1.90 cm...) so pity for bad on flight entertainment but of course i prefer extra space for a 9hrs flight. Thai has a 5 star on land service, when we (my girlfrined and me) were about to take the flight to pertH from bgk they asked us if we would like to change the flight because OF overbooking, they offered us 250 euros each and 2 nights in a five star hotel with free buffet for lunch and dinner and free transpostation with limo serive from the airport to the hotel and back! When we were in Australia we changed 4 times the date of return to bgk from syd and they always changed it without any problem and of course no extra charge! Maybe Thai has (for some routes) not the newest flights (but they are changing a lot, such as our new plane from syd to bgk) but of course you always know that you will have a pleasant flight, on time and if you have some problem they are very reliable.
