General Comments

O2 gets good reviews only from people who haven t experienced any problems. The real test is when there is a problem and here O2 fails for me personally.
Their customer service although polite (which wins many people and me at the beginning) is un-knowledgeable as far as I am concerned. After you ve exhausted their 3 standard troubleshooting bullet points it is chaos.
I received a router who couldn t connect to the internet (phone line was failed to connect). 35mins on the phone and I was told my router was faulty and a new one is on its way. 3 days later the new one arrived (to the wrong address as there was a glitch between the delivery company and their system). Exactly the same problem. After 66 mins on the phone (I have records of these phone calls) I was told there was a discrepancy on my phone line (it was an educated guess and something they could have seen the first time and in shorter period) and they will ask a BT technician to correct it on the BT exchange point. They gave me a case number and told me the next day, once this is done, they ll call me on my mobile. Not only I didn t receive a phone call from them but when I called (20 mins) I was told that there was no case record under my name.
Of course I was fuming, asked my MAC key and left as fast as I could. The points here are:
I do not recommend O2 Broadband.
