They're cheap.
I never received my confirmation e-mail, so I had nothing to bring to the airport for proof of purchase. I called for hours on their 1pound/minute toll numbers, to be kept waiting for over a half hour. They never picked up. I e-mailed 8 different customer service e-mails to try to get a hold of anyone who works for the airline, and not one ever responded. The flight, which I subsequently had to pay 60 euros more for, was delayed for an hour and a half, and cramped. I will never cheap out and use Ryanair again - I made up for the payment in cell phone bills alone. I will never use this airline again.
