Good Points

Good points include low monthly payments and flexibility to provide for the capital payment yourself.


Bad Points

Extremely tempting never to put aside the money for the original loan!


General Comments

This interest only mortgage is great - in the short term or if you are confident with investments. With the NatWest Interest only mortgage, Your monthly payments will be low as you are only paying interest each month - but that means you are not reducing the original loan. This is fine if you are saving money towards it or plan on selling your property at the end of the loan period.

It is not a long term problem solver, but can help you over a difficult patch and allow you to make decisions your self about how much to save for the future. A grown up option perhaps?!
