Good location and choice of gowns
After sales service, quality of gown
I bought my daughter a made to measure gown costing nearly £2000 from this shop for her wedding in 2005. The dress which had a final fitting just 3 days prior to the wedding was a disaster on the day with the top which was strapless falling down from half an hour after the dress was put on. When fastened at the back in the morning it was tight and fit well, one hour later as she was getting out of the car at church she had to hold her bouquet in front of her top as it was falling down and when tying the laces again the fabric had stretched so much it had to be overlapped. As you can imagine her day was ruined by this. On complaining to the retailer we were fobbed off at every turn and they refused to compensate us for a dress costing so much which was not fit for the purpose we bought it (to stay on the bride for the day). If this was a cheaper off the rail dress it would have been more understandable but it was a designer made to measure gown. Our bridesmaids dresses were also strapless and cost only a tenth of the wedding dress and they stayed put all day and all night. The after sales service we received was nil and we feel that the dress was a complete waste of money. My daughter was uncomfortable all day and several photographs could not be used because of this. In the video the photographer even mentions the dress 'going south again'. I am posting this review as the proprietor of this business did not care about this and gave no after sales service
