General Comments

Too many. I would be here all day. In fact I would be surprised if I stay connected for long enough to tell you how poor my experience has been. I have AOL 9VR and this has become steadily worse in my opinion. It is now impossible to stay connected to AOL for more that about 30 minutes if you are lucky. I am currently trying to download the AOL software again after problems with the last download when I could read my e-mails but couldn't search any websites. I clicked on the enter button or the search button and nothing happened. I now used Internet Explorer most of the time, but now have been checking e-mails as well using IE. The BT 190 ADSL modem that was supplied to me originally has to be reset regularly. If it is left on for too long it will not work. I quite often find that I can connect via Internet Explorer but AOL software will not connect (even when the connection is already there). My advice for anyone considering AOL - don't waste your time. I am seriously considering joining Sky Broadband which even at their most expensive price of £10 is the same price as my discounted AOL rate.
