Pre-plan journies - portability/pocketebility
Showing your own pics via memory card is pc dependant -- did not do what is claimed on the box - wrong traffic messages
Overall the Tom Tom Go 720 is a disappointing product exacerbated by wrong information given by TomTom. The saleman demonstrated that I could receive sms messages on the 720 and that these would translated into speech. What he didnt know was that the SonyErricson he was demonstrating with was the only mobile that would do this. The TomTom website gave my Nokia 6280 as compatable but it wasn't. The shop was very sympathetic and gave me a total refund. I found that the unit constantly gave me wrong instructions and all in all, it was more trouble that what it was worth, which well may relate to all SatNavs.
