They're cheap
Just about everything else.
From the first moment somebody else wrote my car off they were terrible - the first phone call reporting the accident was laughable and I felt like suddenly I was to blame. They never wrote to me, never called, when I called them I was forced to listen to a diatribe about how if I was making a false claim I would be prosecuted etc. They valued my car incorrectly and their 'independent valuer' knew less about cars than my dog.
They did not reply to letters, didn't settle claims in any reasonable time and have failed totally to look after their customer - I wouldn't insure a car again with them if they were free - if Mr 'ooo what a big company I've got' Tesco you read this, then I have a message for you - YOU STINK.
