extremely quick for a 1.4 good fun and great handling

parts hard to come by unless bought direct from peugeot


General Comments

The Peugeot 106 xsi 1.4 is my first car and I absolutely love it! it is extremely quick for a 1400cc and sticks to the road like glue to a blanket! unless in the wet!!! last week I spun it in the wet and caused £1500 worth of damage to my car but I love it so much im fixing it! the only thing that I can comment on my baby peugeot is that it seems to fall to bits every 5 minutes... ...But i still love the thing and keep on throwing my money at it!

    Helpsy, I am sooooo with you here!

    I absolutely love my red xsi, wich I've owned for 5 years. I just cannot replace it with any modern dull little hatchback. I'm probably selling it next year to get a Cooper (the S, if I can).

    It's fast (it's so light!), manic, grips the front and hangs the rear out in the most controllable fashion. The engine is no power-house, but the chassis is really a fun-park. It's just so easy to have fun whith it!

    But in the wet, oh boy. I also crashed, last weekend. I'm in for 1200 euros, for starters. It's pretty bad. But I'll fix it. It's better than anything I can buy at this moment.
