General Comments

The Panasonic GD67 was chosen by daughter (age 11). Did lots of shopping around. Seemed to be best value & promised to be fun & funky too. Well, she is SO not impressed now. Bought June 03, has been away to Panasonic repairs twice now already 'cos 'phone keeps freezing up. Can't do anything on it when this way. 'Phone returned saying "software upgraded".
Shop sez Panasonic will not replace unless has been sent for repair 3 times & has 3 recognised faults. I say this is not good enough as phone is UNRELIABLE. Want my daughter to be able to 'phone me when necessary, not be stuck in dangerous situation with a FROZEN PHONE. Has anyone else had this problem & response from Panasonic?
Also, can't download from Panasonic website without a password but website will not give a password. It's a lose/lose situation.

    Completely agree. I had a GD67 and encountered the same problems. It came and went to Panasonic 3 times with the same fault and they had upgraded the software. Refund was given after holding my ground. Now, guess what....I bought a GD55 phone and have encountered similar problems!!. Have emailed Panasonic because I don't think it's good enough that they must realise they have software problems but try and fob you off with repairs! No response from them as yet despite them saying they try and reply within 24 hours, and that's been 5 days!. Simply not good enough Panasonic and you need to improve after sales service.

    Thanks for your comment. Hope you get satisfaction from Panasonic about your GD55.
    My daughter's had to be sent away the 3rd time, but thanks to my sympathetic local supplier it was replaced (I think as a gesture of shop's goodwill) & we declined the offer of another Panasonic so they gave us a Samsung which so far has been problem free. At least we had a happy ending but I don't think Panasonic had anything much to do with it!

    Hi MichO,
    Hope your daughter enjoys her Samsung more than she did the Panasonic. I won't be buying a Panasonic mobile again after my experiences with them. Still not heard from them re the GD55 despite several attempts. Anyway, moan over for the day! Have a good one..!
