General Comments
Having read some negative reviews about V+, I was a little wary, but decided to take the plunge. I was on the 3 for £30 deal, and was told that for an extra £5/month, I could keep the old V box, and qualify for the V+ installation, which was 'apparently' slashed from £150 to £75.
The engineer arrived in good time, sorted out the V+, then did an amazingly neat job of routing the additional cable to the old V box in the bedroom.
Operation of the V+ is fairly straight forward, in fact, no different to using a VCR, only much more versatile. I spent the first evening putting it through the works.
Started by recording two channels at the same time, whilst browsing a third, then pausing one of the channels during the recording, moving backwards, then forwards again. Series record is a feature that we absolutely love.
We hardly ever used the VCR, and didn't think we'd actually make much use of the V+ box, but we use it all the time.
In the last 4 months, we have had no cause to complain about the V+, and I highly recommend it.
