Seems good investment. Layout and format is a good idea.
In my expperience, batteries in the early Nomad Jukebox models failed after short time. Software only applies to a particular model. The Zen models organizers are poor and a set back from the Nomad, you cannot change the order of the songs in the now playing list or work easily with your files and folders. The nomad jukebox organizer does not see the zen and the zen organizer does not see the nomad jukebox. You can only charge a zen from a computer you do not get a separate charger, a nomad charger does not fit and you need to buy one separately.
Nothing is compatable. The best features of the early Nomad Jukebox is ommitted. They just stuck a bigger memory into a Zen made it smaller and charged more money, more money for connector cables, more money for chargers, more money for little bags.
