Very little to recommend this vacuum cleaner. It comes with a range of accessories and you can buy extras.
Bad Points
The cleaner is heavy and couldn't be used for long at one go and it is bulky, an odd shape (rather ugly) and wouldn't fit discreetly anywhere in our average sized kitchen.
General Comments
I would forget the Dyson DC16 Root 6 Bagless Handheld vacuum cleaner and go for something else, which though it might lack the flashy appearance, will in all probability be cheaper, more efficient and will fit neatly and discreetly near your electrical socket. It is very easy to accidentally switch the cleaner on when picking it up due to the location of the on off switch on the handle. Unfortunately, the 'bizarre' design seems to have been the main focus of this vacuum cleaner when it should have been functionality in my eyes. Mine simply fails to pick up dirt efficiently, is hopeless on carpets and on the model we have the machine does not always make the connection to the charging base and needs to be pushed in carefully (it still pops out and so fails to charge on occasions).
