Great looks, great feel. Bought it mainly to run the squirrels out of the yard (they will destroy a nice lawn if you have oak trees). Accuracy is not too good from 100ft but the noise ran then off most of the time. I have hit one a few times from about 70ft and he knew he had been hit (without wounding him). Good mileage on the co2 cartridge. I drilled out the hole in a used up co2 cartridge just slightly larger than the bb's and use it as a speed loader.
After a dozen co2 cartridges and just about the time I bought the red-dot sight to go on it, the trigger stuck and ruined 3 co2 cartridges as fast as I put them in. Could not get the trigger to unstick, so I took it back to store and bought the Crossman 1088. I am afraid that the power of this gun will kill the squirrels and therefore have not opened it yet. (If I wanted to kill them, I would grab my Crossman Powerline 2800 which has killed possums & racoons with ease.) I may take the 1088 back and try another 15XT. I have read another review where there were problems with the trigger sticking and releasing all of the co2, so I am leary to try another one.
Overall, even though I had one go bad on me, I still think it is a great gun for the money. The other reviews I have read of owners putting 1000-2000 bb's through them with no problems, maybe I just got a bad one. I recommend getting this gun but get it from a place that you can get a replacement easily (just in case you get a bad one too). Like any product, there are bound to be a bad one here and there in the bunch. I have read more highly positive reviews than negative. So, I would say "Go for it". Great value for the money and taken good care of, will probably last for a long time.
