Quite Addictive and fun.
Some modelling problems.
This game I bought by mistake, I had somehow thought that it was Call of Duty, but when I got home had it installed and was ready to play it I noticed it said Day of Defeat, dam. But when I hooked up to the internet and joined a game, the game really wasnt that bad, it was quite fun. The first question I had about this game was. Was it released recently? Because the graphics aren't exactly cutting edge, and the sound isnt that great either, but the fun in this game definitly fills in for it. Day of Defeat is a multiplayer game only pitting the Axis verses the Allies in World War 2, they have real guns used such as the M-1 Garand, the B.A.R. , the thompson (that is one advantage over Battlefield 1942, where is the Thompson EA games?). Some battles include destroying Flak Guns on Omaha Beach, Taking control of a forest, Protecting trucks against the axis, and defending and attacking a bridge (this level is quite like the movie Saving Private Ryan). The makers of Half-Life originally released this as a mod, but later tried to make some money on it starting stacking them on store shelves, for the price it isnt that bad, so if you have any extra money (as in extra) at Wal-Mart or a game store buy it if your into multiplayer World War 2 games.
