The Green Line coach network has good, value for money fares when compared to rail travel in London & the Home Counties. It provides good local pick up points in the various towns it serves, ie Stevenage - 797, Luton - 757, Hemel Hempstead - 758. There is even a coach route from Harlow via Ware, Hatfield, St Albans, Watford & Uxbridge to Heathrow Airport - 724.
Coaches tend to be very punctual, pretty good going when you take into account the amount of traffic in Central London and on the motorways to and from the Capital. Most vehicles are very modern types and are very clean. Drivers tend to be very friendly.
Sunday services tend to be light on the ground with most services having completed their journeys from central London by midnight (00:00) which is a bit of a pity as it doesn't allow passengers to have a late night out in the capital, for example the last 797 departs Victoria for Stevenage at 20:45.
On the whole a very good value scheduled coach network originating from London Victoria, The Green Line coach station is located above Victoria railway station and not at Victoria coach station. (That's the National Express one situated just across the road). It is fantastically situated at a very good transport hub what with the railway station directly below as well as the Transport for London bus station and London Underground tube station located just a few mins walk away.
Getting to most parts of Greater London by bus and tube, the SouthEast by National Rail and nearly most points of the UK by coach Victoria is an excellent starting / finishing point.
