Didn't last long enough to give any.
Method for measuring angle not accurate. Play in sliding mechanism. Electronic speed control not suitable for areas where power isn't 'clean'.
Engineers say if it ain't broke don't fix it. So why then did Dewalt discontinue the tried tested and amazing DW708 and replace it with a down grade?
I used the DW708 on several building projects in remote areas in Africa over the past 3 years without a hitch. The angle measuring scale was accurate and easy to use. An amazing machine.
New company, new machine, still in Africa... we received the DW718, took it out of the box, plugged it in, 2 hours later it was back in the box and going to be repaired and hasn't been seen since.
