General Comments

If there is any "poor man's" airsoft sniper rifle, than this is it. Affordable,powerful,and accurate,this gun is the perfect pick.
Now please note that there IS a difference between the Pro Version 1,and the Pro Version 2 Super 9. I personally like the Ver.1 better. The Ver. 1 has a PLASTIC spring guide, and the Ver.2 has a metal spring guide. The Version 2 has too much chrome for my taste. But the Ver.1 looks like the real thing.
Both PRO Versions(Pro ver.2, and Pro Ver.2)have the same muzzle velocity. BUT BE WARNED, there IS a regular Super 9 that is not Pro. This "regular" Super 9 has an extremely slow muzzle velocity, and I would NEVER buy one. Oh yes, the velocity on the Pros are around 390 to 410 feet per second.
The Pro Ver.1 is just marvelous!

   I am about to purchase this gun, hopefuly, but, from the picture, is there any way to tell the pros from the norms?

   Nope, no way to tell. Buy your Super 9 from a store and take a good look at it. If you buy a gun online they rip you off. Like let\'s say they show a pic of a TM mp5 without an orange tip and you buy it, but then it HAS an orange tip

   Hmm, on this occasion I am sure of this stores reliability, I know for a fact that all of the springers are good prices, the pictures are always updated and i have bought from them before. They own a real store to :p.
   
   But I know what you mean about online buying :(

   I have heard it is quite fast. It is a kind of clip this here then tighten that thing, it does not requre proper assembly, so it shouldnt take long.

   390-410fps. The super 9 shoots around 275FPS with .20 gram bbs. It is a POS gun, it is not durable at all. The bolt is horrible on it too. And it is not a Clip, it's a Mag or Magazine. The Super 9 is a horrible beginners gun because it breaks so much. Get a Maruzen CA870 instead.
   
   I laughed so hard when I read this review and the comments about this gun. Ha Ha ha.
   
   Also, there is no Pro version 1 or Pro version 2.
   It's just a Super 9, or a Super 9 pro. The super 9 pro has hopup, that's the only difference.

    CA 870 is way better for the same price range. If you want a good but economic boltie go for the Tokyo Marui VSR 10 pro sniper or G-Spec.

    i an buying the UHC Super Pro Spring Airsoft Rifles of airsplat.com. it says it has about 410 fps is this true, or is the site trying to rip me off selling me the bad super 9?
