I like the fact that I didn't actually pay money for this item, it was a points score gift from work.
Everything about it ! Mainly the incredible interference and the short range.
DO NOT WASTE MONEY ON The Tomy Walkabout Premier Advance, it has caused me more sleepless nights that the baby! The interference is so intense, it sounds like a hundred angry moths trying to get out of a paper bag! By the time you can vaguely recognise your baby's murmurs beyond this, it's too late to resume her sleep. It is supposed to have a 200m range, but cuts out as soon as I enter the conservatory (and I live in a small house!). It's supposed to have different channels, which just seem to be higher levels of white noise! Occasionally the parent unit interference screams as if communicating with alien beings which force you bolt upright from your own sleep! I threw it out of the bedroom window last night into the garden and left both bedroom doors open to listen for the baby and will now have to beg my parents to borrow their £19 Fisher Price baby monitor which is crystal clear!
