I use the laptop for a variety of things from Microsoft Word to Microsoft Flight Simulator X and it performs very well for everything. The graphics card could be better but it works fine for Flight Sim X which demands a lot so it will do. Windows vista home premium looks amazing and is amazingly easy to connect and create networks at home or the office.
The battery life is not very good. On full power save and at the lowest screen brightness it uses 1% battery every minute. The fan is a bit noisy sometimes but its not that irritating. It does not come with Microsoft Office or any publishing software which is annoying.
Overall Advent 1115C is a very good laptop and a bargain as I got mine refurbished for £290 at Dixons online and it has not failed or froze once. It says that the laptop has a 120 gig hard drive but you only get about 100 gig after vista has been installed. I recommend this laptop because it is high performance cheap and reliable.
