I needed to send an urgent parcel to USA and Interparcel had the best rates and assured the quickest delivery time.
I have been advised that it is not Interparcel's job to provide information on Customs requirements outside of the UK. Because of this lack of information, and the assurance from the person who collected the parcel from me, my urgent parcel was stuck for 7 days.
Interparcel were quick to blame DHL. Inspite of the fact that my contact details were on the package (as instructed) no-one from DHL or Interparcel contacted me to advise that additional information was required. When I contacted Customer Services in Interparcel I was given the wrong advice, and assurances that all was sorted. Inspite of the fact that they did make an effort and facilitated the sending of the additional information required, emphasising the urgent nature of the package, no-one in DHL came back to them. I will not use Interparcel or DHL again.
