Engine, Gearbox, Rideability and Fun.
I bought a 2003 Yamaha Fazer 3 years ago as my first big bike and I have had no problems with it. It starts every time, the engine and gearbox are great and it handles brilliantly. Being a 2003 Fazer it is also the version on which Yamaha fixed the poor headlight problem. I would say the Fazer is a novice friendly bike that grows with you. If you want to know how good it is look how many couriers ride Fazers.
