Good Points

Looks great. Good way to lighten your wallet if you can't think of any better ways.


Bad Points

Almost everything else. Enamel chips on pan supports, grill control is hot or off, grill pan on deluxe model requires you to take all the food off to adjust height, igniters didn't work on delivery. The electric oven billows smoke out like an old diesel engine.


General Comments

First and foremost they promote this Falcon Continental 1092 as a 'cooks' semi professional, robust product. This flatters your ego somewhat and you start to believe you can only cook properly with one of these - forget it. The grill heat adjust doesn't work very well so the only way to vary grilling rate is to adjust the height - to do this on the deluxe model you have to take all the food off! Insane in my opinion. The wok ring I find is badly designed and not very powerful - the ring is so large there is a cold spot in the centre almost the size of a football!

We bought this to replace a 55 year old gas cooker which worked fine but was a bit small for our family. We thought it would be nice to buy something robust which would last another 55 years. Disappointmment, this product is nothing special. The enamel flakes off the pan supports and if you complain they send out another set which also flakes. Despite £2500 pounds after a bit you give up - if an AGA company cannot make enameled cast iron products they should give up I reckon.
