I purchased my HW 35L from Air Rifle Headquarters in 1971 when I was a kid. I still have it, just recently reblued everything and refinished the walnut stock. This was my first introduction to high quality air guns and back then nobody my age had one. I learned to deal with the recoil and once I had that down the rifle was deadly to small game and birds. I could nail anything up to about 50 yards.
The only maintenance was to replace the spring and the breech seal. Keep it in good shape it will last forever.
