I have been driving accident free, all over the world, for 50 years and a similar length of time hiring cars. My current experience with Thrifty Car Rental in Ireland which was set up by Argus Car Hire is the worst experience I've had in 50 years of driving. I feel now that I am the victim whereby Thrifty is attempting to charge me over one thousand dollars for problems of their own making. I wanted and offered to take the vehicle in question to a main dealer for examination and service but Thrifty declined this offer and insisted on taking the car to their own facility
