While this Russell Hobbs coffee maker does indeed have a compact design and an appealing price being a 3 in one, I have found that this is not the machine for serious coffee drinkers. The plastic lid on the filter coffee jug is not very durable and one must be careful not to break the plastic hinges with constant use. The espresso side of the machine uses steam to brew the coffee and so the result is just a more concentrated version of fiter coffee. I would suggest consumers shop around for a reasonably priced espresso machine that uses a 15 bar pump to produce good quality espresso with a crema. Avoid going for the 3 in 1 option in this case. This machine produces average filter coffee and sub-standard espresso.
