I felt the front end slip as well :-(
Had a Suzuki gixxer k5 1000 before the Yamaha R6, this is a superb bike....get one. Great front end 'feel'.....not experienced this much before. Road the demo bike and can't wait to get mine run in to experience the 12k rush again.
