First Off. I got this BT Voyager 100 modem as part of a package deal from AOL. It all arrived in a gucci wee box and the drivers and AOL 8 where installed with nary a hitch. It works well enough and i've had no problems other than that stated below. The lack of a fully functional driver that allows the USB ADSL modem operate to the capacity for which it was designed seems to me to be utterly ridiculous. However. After typing in a few queries over the net and the fortunate hit on one that referred to patches on board the AOL disc labelled as Q307271 WxPSP1 x86 enu MID57834.exe and MID58293. These patches where originally intended for the listening of music via USB speakers which caused a popping sound to be heard and which i have heard whilst online. This sound is indicative of your need to apply these patches immediately to sort it all out. They can be found on an AOL 8 Broadband disc under patches or alternatively form the microsoft website, if you use the Q number i gave you above then you'll find them no problem. The fix is for USB Isochronous Data Transfer. Hope this helps
