Good Points

Like my old phone it has space for up to 4 alarms unlike the single space for other phones.i can record songs from the radio as a ring tone or my moms voice telling me to wake up. putting a call on hold here in jamaica usually disconnects one, this doesnt. its stylish and can be decorated with pictures at the back.
when i get long complicated instructions during a call i just record it in memo and then decipher it later instead of wasting the call minutes going over it again.
the phone itself can be locked or outgiong calls barred. this is helpful as, if my phone is stolen and my sim removed the phone still would protected and i can protect my phone from use by my friends

Bad Points

ok the bad part. t9 dictionary is very very limited. when the word isnt in the dictionary i have to delete it change it to manual write then back to t9 as it doesnt prompt u to spell the word u r looking for. the word u spelt manually doesnt stay in the dictionary. this is especially difficult for me as i tend to write my text messages in creole.
the ring volume isnt loud enough and i only hear it when im a few feet away.
unlike the gd75 the phone doesnt vibrate when ringing, it only vibrates on silent.
ring tones are cruddy.
in jamaica this phone cant go online as the phones malfunction when they do.
for a colour screen phone the games are stupid. even my good for nothing seimens a50 has better games and thats a black and white screen. even the tiny black and white screen panasonic phone has better games.
i do alot of phone swapping so its important that all my numbers are saved on my sim card. when i save it there i cannot group the people. phone book enteries have to be added to the phones address book for allert group ringing to be done.
i dont have the option to make my number private or not. the phone doesnt send the request to the provider. if i want my # private or not private i have to call my service provider every time

General Comments

Generally speaking the Panasonic GD68 mobile phone, though it looks good, has many downfalls. if i had visited this site earlier i would have known. now i know first hand. i just assumed it would be as good as the other panasonic phones. i bought it based on that assumption and because it looked good. too bad for me. panasonics are generally good though.
