Good Points

Good premium price - otherwise promises much the same as other insurers.


Bad Points

Everything okay until you have to make a claim which requires a bit of lateral thinking on their part, or, I suspect, does not fit the automated screen options at the call centre. Very poorly trained staff who have very little specialist or real world experience of car insurance claims.


General Comments

From reading the reviews, everyone who says they are brilliant appears to have either been bewitched by the savings available, or have had a straightforward claim where nothing has gone wrong. With me the so-called approved repairer just failed to inform me of the problems with the repair, changed their story on 3 occasions when I queried the repair and then buried their head in the sand and went incommunicado. Almost 12 months to sort out the problem to any sort of satisfactory conclusion, and Sheila's Wheels final position appeared to be that "these things happen". There appears to be no willingess to accept that it was their approved repairer who demonstrated such a dire level of service. Never experienced such atrociously poor customer sevice and will go ANYWHERE except back to these.

    I agree, if it's on the tick list, it's fine - shame if you actually need to use the service that you're paying for!
