Cheap
Misleading locations. Bad, inflexible and expensive post sales service.
I booked car rental from Montpelier airport. Right at the end of the on-line booking process (having paid the rental in full) I was shown a map of the pick-up location. This was 6 miles from the airport with no explanation of how to get there. I wasn't happy with this as we are travelling with our small children and I do not want to drive into the centre of town for the return journey.
I called the telephone help line as soon as it opened (@ 60p/min) and they refused to give me a refund even though I feel I have been mislead and I have given maximum notice. I was told that I should have checked the location on their web site before renting. I have since done this and the easy car site lists the Montpelier pick-up location as near the border with Luxembourg, rather than the south of France.
It's no surprise that customer service is poor and I guess that is reflected in the price. But if you are thinking of using Easycar, you need to check things like locations independently before you hand over money.
