General Comments

i got a quote through one of these 'confused.com' type websites. although they weren't the cheapest, I took them because they have a branch about 5 mins from my flat. This was the best decision iv'e ever made in insurance. when my (1.1 litre) Peogeot died during some off-road activities in ireland, i had to cancel my policy and try claw back some monies.

i was only greeted by the normal incompetence and 20 minutes listening to (your call is important to us) and (we are experiencing a very high call volume at present) in 0870 land. /I just took some ID into the branch. Sat had a coffee, and made it clear that i was going to wait for it to be sorted out.

Poor staff were more trained to sell than anything else but they did make some calls (amazingly they don't have to hold) and send some e-mails (they amazing got replies to as well) and got me my refund in full.

I think they have branches near most university's, also they are trying to sell their insurance to walk-ins so they dont want frustrated customers hanging round the office. They WILL sort it out for you pretty sharp.
