Bad Points
Really? I can't think of a single negative here. Maybe when I watch it a few more times, I'll come up with something. All right, the subplot between the Lorings, with the hubby's infatuation with Juno missed the mark. But I'm not willing to quibble here
General Comments
Juno for a small film with no major names and a budding screenwriter, Juno had everything: snappy dialogue, comedy, poignancy, and a performance by Michael Cera and Ellen Page that shows their talent beyond their years. Cera had already established his persona as the earnest teen with the puppy dog face in Superbad, He repeats the role in Juno. Don't forget the score, an eclectic, spanning generations, from the 1950s to today, from Buddy Holly to Mott the Hoople to Sonic Youth to Cat Powers.
