General Comments

The BEKO DE2431FW dishwasher was our first washer and has been in daily use for about 1 year with no problems or leaks.
The machine Plumbs into a cold water supply only- no hot supply needed ( you can use those self tapping kits to tap into the washing machine supply etc). You also need to have a water waste situated fairly close to the Dishwasher.

This dishwasher is a slimline model and is useful where space is at a premium and you just dont have the space for a full sized model. Also useful if you dont intend washing loads of dishes each time.
Loading the machine is easy and the top and bottom baskets pull right out giving good access to load your dishes. The machine will accept a 6 place setting, including some of the pots/ pans as well as all the cutlery. We have used the machine on setting '3' which seems to give a good balance of cleaning power and time/ economy- but this does take a couple hours to complete the cycle. Most brands of supermarket tablet work fine, as well as the expensive ' finish' type tablets.

Loading of the washer is the key to clean dishes, we do 'pre rinse' all dishes going in, under hot water and make sure they are all either stacked in the slots (for plates), or facing down for cups and pots- the water sprays upwards into the dishes remember. Also worth watching out for is that none of the dishes will 'foul' the spinners which spray the water on the dishes.

That said the cleaning ability of the washer is good- in fact if you are only used to handwashing dishes you may well notice much cleaner pots and pans!

All in all this is a good, compact, reliable washer for those with space at a premium. Well done BEKO!
