Good Points

Steel frame, Looks and feels like a real 44mag 6 shot rotary clip different barrel lengths

Bad Points

Discontinued late 01. plastic grips. Barrel heavy, not the most accurate co2 pistol, trigger is thick and is not smooth.

General Comments

I bought one of the last model 44's made, its a good gun as far as looks, and feel, but the gun is barrel heavy and not too accurate.

It has a blade and ramp front site and an adjustable windage and elevation site for the rear. It is a single or double action, and shooting it in double action is smoother and more accurate than single action, due to a thick and heavy trigger.

Now for the good stuff. It is an all steel construction gun except for the grips and clips. realistic weight and looks, one cool thing about the 44 is you can change the barrel lengths on it. It came with a 6in but through daisy as far as I still know you can buy an 8in or a 4in barrel for the gun that changes out in a couple minutes. I prefer the 4in because its better balanced. The 6 shot rotary clip swings out for reloading.

Extras, I bought the different barrels, they were 10 bucks each through daisy, and extra clips so I dont have to stop shooting to reload, they come in a 3 pack for 4 bucks.

All in all its a very cool gun, since I got mine I havent come across any place that had any left. I have a Gamo R-77 and it is nicer than the daisy 44, smoother and more accurate, better weighted too.

If you come across one and the price is right I remomend it.

The 44 it self was $40

I hope this review was helpful any questions reply to this and ill try my best

Can't agree about accuracy. Got mine today and once the sights were zeroed in I got 6 shots in a 1" group at 20 feet without any support of the weapon.

More inaccuracy is down to poor shooting technique, such as snatching the trigger, not controlling your breathing and not making sure your sights are set correctly.
