Incredibly over priced. Call centre operatives.


General Comments

I was told the camera I bought for £300 was valued at £60, that I needed to pay for an inspection before they'd consider paying out (which would cost me £30) and that I didn't have the excess waiver, so I'd have to pay for the first £50... Therefore if I went ahead with the claim I would end up £20 further out of pocket!

Later found my policy docs which showed I did have the waiver - American Express had put me off claiming - not what I expected from I company I'd paid £220 each year for 10 years of cover, without ever having claimed before.
