Charente Maritime camp-site is easy to find. It has excellent facilities and is open all year. We were made very welcome by the staff who are always willing to help if they can. The local towns of Montguyon and St Aigulin offer basic shopping facilities, banks and post offices. Good site to base yourself for days out in Cognac, Royan, Saintes, Bordeaux and for tourist attractions in the Dordogne. Not too far from the motorway but a quiet and peaceful site.
