Attractive glasses - quality seems good but read the bad points
Six week delivery
Untrained customer service staff
Glasses arrived in a tatty cardboard box with no protective packing and a soft case. This meant the frames were slightly twisted.
The lenses were very dirty lenses with remnants of some white compound used in the manufacure between the lens and the frame.
There was no postage on the box so I had to collect them from the post office and pay £2.24
I wouldn't recommend this as a way to buy glasses. The glasses are good and I don't intend to send them back but the ones I chose have a very narrow angle of view and produce quite a lot of chromatic abberation (rainbow colours) on the edge of my field of vision probably related to my high prescription, but not noticeable on other glasses I've had. I think an optiican would be able to advise you about that.
To sum up, Glasses Direct are obviously cheap but as with most services - you do get what you pay for.
